Earn to Learn accepting applications for fall 2018 scholarships

Are you a student planning to start at Northern Arizona University, Arizona State University, or the University of Arizona in fall 2018 or spring 2019?

Earn to Learn, an innovative savings-to-scholarship program that helps low- to moderate-income students access a college education, is accepting applications. Deadline to complete the online pre-application form is November 8, 2017.

To enroll in Earn to Learn, students must qualify as low-to-moderate income, be eligible for in-state tuition, and establish a habit of saving. For more information on eligibility and to begin the application process, please visit our program overview and process page.

Earn to Learn combines student savings with scholarships, financial literacy and success coaching to help financially eligible Arizonans get a university education and graduate, ready to enter the workforce with little to no debt.

Here’s how it works: Students enrolled in Earn to Learn save $500 each year. The student’s $500 savings is matched 8:1 by the universities and federal funding, making a total of $4,500 per academic year per student available for tuition and other approved expenses at NAU, ASU, or the UA.

Since 2013, more than 1,400 students have successfully saved over $1 million with Earn to Learn, qualifying them to receive more than $8 million in scholarships. In addition, they have received financial education, support and connections to help them successfully navigate their college experience.
