Earn to Learn at Maricopa Community Colleges

Earn to Learn at the Maricopa Community College District offers the Earn to Learn scholarship to two student populations at all community colleges within the district. To qualify, you must meet the eligibility requirements listed in one of these two columns:

Incoming Maricopa Students

  • Enroll as a full-time student (minimum of 12 credit hours / units) at MCC
  • Complete a minimum of 30 credits during the academic year that you receive the scholarship
  • Enroll in a degree-seeking program, including transfer degrees and direct employment degrees (certificate programs are not eligible)
  • Qualify to receive Federal Financial Aid
  • Qualify to receive $1 or more from the Federal Pell Grant
  • Qualify for in-state tuition
  • Be an undergraduate student, which means you have not earned a bachelor’s, graduate, or professional degree

Current Maricopa students

  • Enroll as a full-time student (minimum of 12 credit hours / units) at MCC

  • Chandler-Gilbert Community College
  • Estrella Mountain Community College
  • GateWay Community College
  • Glendale Community College
  • Mesa Community College
  • Paradise Valley Community College
  • Phoenix College
  • Rio Salado College
  • Scottsdale Community College
  • South Mountain Community College

Earn to Learn at Maricopa Colleges is not available to students:

  • Who have already earned a bachelor’s, graduate, or professional degree
