Earn to Learn at Maricopa Community Colleges

The Maricopa County Community College District (MCCCD) and Earn to Learn recruited for a pilot program of 10 students for the Fall 2020 – Spring 2021 academic year.  We are not currently recruiting any additional students to join the Earn to Learn program at Maricopa Community Colleges.  The eligibility requirements in place for the pilot program are listed below.

Incoming Maricopa Students

  • Enroll as a full-time student (minimum of 12 credit hours / units) at MCCCD
  • Complete a minimum of 30 credits during the academic year that you receive the scholarship
  • Enroll in a degree-seeking program, including transfer degrees and direct employment degrees (certificate programs are not eligible)
  • Qualify to receive Federal Financial Aid
  • Qualify to receive $1 or more from the Federal Pell Grant
  • Qualify for in-state tuition
  • Be an undergraduate student, which means you have not earned a bachelor’s, graduate, or professional degree

Current Maricopa students

  • Enroll as a full-time student (minimum of 12 credit hours / units) at MCCCD

Earn to Learn is offered at all 10 Maricopa Community Colleges, listed below. Earn to Learn students can attend one or more of the Maricopa Community Colleges simultaneously, with a minimum of 12 total credit hours combined per fall/spring term.

  • Estrella Mountain Community College
  • GateWay Community College
  • Glendale Community College
  • Mesa Community College
  • Paradise Valley Community College
  • Phoenix College
  • Rio Salado College
  • Scottsdale Community College
  • South Mountain Community College

Earn to Learn at Maricopa Community Colleges is not available to students:

  • Who have already earned a bachelor’s, graduate, or professional degree
  • Who are dually-enrolled or in a Consortium Agreement between Maricopa Community Colleges and a college/university outside of the Maricopa Community Colleges district
