Earn to Learn is Heading to the 5th Annual Desert Southwest Transfer Conference!

We’re excited to announce that Earn to Learn will be participating in the 5th Annual Desert Southwest Transfer Conference, taking place from March 3rd to March 6th, 2025, in collaboration with Arizona Western College’s (AWC) university partners. This event is a fantastic opportunity to connect with students, educators, and community members as we work together to make higher education more accessible and affordable. 

At Earn to Learn, we’re committed to empowering students through our Matched-Savings Scholarship Program, which provides not only financial support but also comprehensive services such as financial education, workforce development, and personalized advising. Our goal is to ensure students have the tools they need to succeed academically and professionally. 

This year, we’re thrilled to highlight our partnership with Arizona Western Entrepreneurial College. Together, we’re offering a scholarship opportunity that combines savings with financial support for eligible AWC certificates, occupational degrees, and select transfer programs. This collaboration expands access to higher education and equips students with critical resources to help them enter the workforce with confidence. 

Throughout the week, we will be offering a series of informational workshops focused on university scholarships, career development, and support services available to students. Whether you’re just starting your educational journey or looking to take the next step, our team will be there to guide you through the resources and opportunities that can help you succeed. 

A major highlight of the conference will be the keynote address from Gabriela Amavizca, our very own Director of Scholarship and Workforce Development. Gabriela will share her inspiring educational journey and discuss the transformative impact of pursuing higher education. She’ll also dive into the ways Earn to Learn supports students in achieving their goals through financial empowerment and mentorship.
