Mentorship Hall of Fame
Each academic year, one mentor and one mentee are chosen from our Mentorship Program to highlight their commitment.
The chosen mentors go above and beyond in their roles, offering expert guidance, encouragement, and consistent support. Their commitment to empowering others and showing up with patience, empathy, and wisdom makes a lasting impact not just on their individual mentee but on our mentorship community as a whole.
The chosen mentees show outstanding growth, initiative, and engagement throughout the program. Their openness to learning, willingness to receive feedback, and consistent effort to apply what they’ve learned makes them standout mentees and role models to their peers.
Together, they exemplify the powerful potential of mentorship. Their partnership is a true reminder of what’s possible when people invest in one another’s growth.
“In learning you will teach, and in teaching you will learn.” –Phil Collins

FAQs:
What is the mentorship program?
Earn to Learn offers a mentorship program that connects students with working professionals in their future industries. These mentors provide advice, guidance, and assistance in preparing students for their careers after graduation. Students and their mentors receive monthly email directives with specific workforce development topics and resources to guide their conversations.
Since 2017, Earn to Learn has partnered with companies to ensure students are paired with mentors in fields relevant to their future careers. Starting in 2021, the program expanded to include business and community leaders who independently apply to be mentors, allowing professionals not affiliated with large companies to participate.
Participants can choose between a Full-Year program from September to May or a condensed Spring Semester program from January to May.
What topics get covered in the mentorship program?
The mentorship program covers a variety of workforce-related topics, including resume building, mock interviews, networking, work/life balance, workplace expectations, goal setting, and life after college. Topics are subject to change year to year based on feedback but will always be related to workforce readiness.
*Mentorship pairs may meet in-person (if safe and feasible to do so) or virtually via video conferencing.
