Community Engagement Winter 2024-2025 Recap

Community Engagement Winter 2024-2025 Recap

Engaging with the communities we serve is the cornerstone of what we do here at Earn to Learn. As this winter comes to a close, we reflect on some of the recent updates and milestones that highlight our commitment to empowering students, expanding our reach, and making a meaningful impact on communities. Let’s dive into the latest news from our growing network of partnerships!

Earn to Learn has begun a new chapter in rural education with our partnership with Eastern Arizona College (EA). This collaboration marks a significant step as we extend our holistic support model to more students in rural Arizona. By offering tailored resources and guidance, we’re helping students at EA overcome challenges and reach their personal and academic goals. We look forward to empowering even more students in the EA community, providing the tools they need to succeed both inside and outside the classroom.

Our reach into Georgia is broadening as our partnership with Western Governors University (WGU) continues to flourish. With their support, we are helping aspiring educators on their path to becoming certified teachers who will shape and strengthen their communities. By providing personalized guidance, we aim to empower these future leaders to make an even greater impact on education in Georgia.

This past December, we had the honor and privilege of sending our very own Director of Community Engagement, Courtney Fauss, to the 2024 Arizona ACT Conference at Arizona State University, where she shared insights and strategies from our holistic support model. Her presentation focused on the intricate relationship between graduation rates, financial literacy, and overall financial well-being. The conference proved to be a fantastic opportunity to engage with education leaders and professionals, allowing us to showcase the impact of our programs and discuss new ways to collaborate for the benefit of students everywhere. Building meaningful connections with others in the education field has inspired us to continue innovating and improving the services we offer through collaboration.

One of our most recent partnerships is with Arizona Public Service (APS) to support Yavapai College students pursuing the Lineworker Certificate Program. We’re happy to announce that this partnership has already yielded a 100% success rate in our very first semester. This scholarship initiative is a game-changer for students aiming to build the critical skills needed to help power Arizona’s future—both literally and figuratively! We’re proud to see our students succeed and look forward to supporting even more learners as they embark on this exciting career path.
