Earn to Learn Launches New Financial Counseling Services

Earn to Learn Launches New Financial Counseling Services

Just a few months ago, we proudly unveiled our new Financial Wellness Department. The team has since been hard at work creating ways to bolster our already robust array of wrap-around services to further enhance the positive impact on the financial futures of our students. To that end, we are thrilled to officially launch our brand-new financial counseling services!

Under the stellar leadership of Tim Cerebe, our Vice President of Student Success and Financial Wellness, we have recruited the best and brightest financial counselors to drive this new program. These passionate, professionally trained, and certified counselors are dedicated to supporting participants as they navigate the financial world that surrounds all of us.

The goal of this program is simple: to increase the financial well-being of its participants. So, what exactly is financial well-being? At its core, financial well-being is a state of being wherein an individual can fully meet current and ongoing financial obligations. They feel secure in their financial future, equipped with the knowledge and resources to make informed choices that align with their goals and aspirations, ultimately enabling them to enjoy a fulfilling life. The efforts of our Financial Wellness team reinforce that Earn to Learn is dedicated to fostering this state of well-being for all individuals within the communities we serve.

Our new financial counseling service is one way we’re helping support students and their families enhance their financial well-being. Here’s how it works. Students and their families can sign up for an appointment (link below!) to begin receiving personalized one-on-one financial coaching sessions to help target areas that matter most to them. The first session will be a phone or video conference where participants will meet their new financial counselor and explore their areas of interest, whether that be budgeting, savings strategies, credit score improvement, or any other personal financial need. From there, students and families can meet with their financial counselors on a regular basis. There are no limits to the number of sessions, and they are free of charge for students enrolled in Earn to Learn’s program and their families.

At Earn to Learn, our mission is to empower students to achieve their goals and be workforce ready with little to no student debt. Providing students with the know-how, tools, and confidence to make informed financial decisions is key to carrying out this mission and building a brighter future where financial security is a reality for everyone.
