Earn to Learn Teams Up with Michigan State University

Earn to Learn has officially entered the Midwest!  We are proud to announce our partnership with Michigan State University (MSU), the alma mater of our very own Don Kuchnicki, Director of Policy and Strategic Initiatives. This groundbreaking alliance marks our first partnership in the region and another huge step in our journey to national expansion.

At Earn to Learn, we are committed to addressing the specific needs of each community that we serve, and we trust our educational partners like MSU to identify and address what will benefit their students the most. As such, we will be kicking off our first year in Michigan by offering our vast array of core services to up to 52 students who are part of MSU’s Migrant Student Services (MSS)-College Assistance Migrant Program (CAMP). These programs provide essential support to migrant students, setting them up for success in their first year at the university. We are grateful for the opportunity to assist MSU in opening up pathways to higher education for these students.

Keep an eye out for updates on this program and its impact on the community as we make our way through the next school year. If you are a student who may meet the eligibility criteria for this program, please contact our Scholarship team for more information!

Update as of September 1st:

Earn to Learn’s revolutionary partnership with Michigan State University (MSU) is making headlines! Yahoo News and the Lansing State Journal are now featuring a column, written in part by our very own founder and CEO, Kate Hoffman, highlighting this new relationship and the impact that it is having on MSU’s students.

MSU has long been dedicated to increasing accessibility and affordability of post-secondary education, providing nearly $250 million toward helping students just this year. This commitment makes MSU a natural partner for our Matched-Savings Scholarship Program, providing these students with an additional 8-to-1 match of $4,000 for every $500 they save.
