NCAN 2024 Recap

NCAN 2024 Recap

This year’s National College Attainment Network’s (NCAN) conference was a huge success, and Earn to Learn’s team led the way! Six of our members from all across the country traveled to Anaheim, California, to attend the event as presenters, sponsors, and exhibitors. Held from September 16-18, this three-day education extravaganza centered around innovation, celebration, and collaboration within the world of post-secondary education accessibility.

Our very own Courtney Fauss, Flor De Liz Matus, and MJ Chamberlin kicked off the event with a presentation on the power of partnerships in shaping post-secondary educational outcomes, and there wasn’t an empty seat in the room! At Earn to Learn, we recognize that one of the largest barriers to continuing education beyond high school is the cost, which is why we offer a wide variety of wrap-around services to help students obtain a college degree with little to no debt—But we cannot do it alone. Only through a combination of generous donations, volunteer mentors, university programs, and dedicated organizations like NCAN that bring us all together are we able to do what we do. This is the power of partnership.

The Earn to Learn booth was abuzz throughout the remaining days of the conference. Team members Kessiah Meeks, Jesse Robinson, and Niko Centeno-Monroy were handing out cool Earn to Learn gear, connecting with other nonprofits, and sharing information about how we are impacting communities in states all over the US. It was a great opportunity to meet with so many dynamic organizations and discover the wonderful work they are doing to make obtaining higher education a reality for everyone.

Thank you to our dedicated team members for representing our organization and to NCAN for hosting such an incredible event!
