    Our Workforce Development Partners

Earn to Learn’s workforce development activities take place in the form of coaching, workshops, mentoring, job shadowing, internships, and paid work experiences. Students’ success in these areas can be attributed to our wealth of corporate and community partnerships:

    RAYTHEON

Raytheon provides a comprehensive year-long mentorship program for Earn to Learn™ students in STEM and STEM-related majors. The collaborative partnership serves to provide students with work experience and individual guidance as they learn more about the vast range of work opportunities in the Defense Industry and at Raytheon.

    ROCHE

Roche is currently offering a pilot mentorship program for the 2020-2021 academic year for Earn to Learn™ students in biomedical and related majors. Operating virtually, Earn to Learn™ students are given the opportunity to receive guidance from Roche employee volunteers from across the United States.

    PACIFIC PREMIER BANK

PPBI has offered a series of workforce readiness webinars and online information sessions to students.

SOCIETY OF HUMAN RESOURCE MANAGEMENT – GREATER TUCSON (SHRM-GT)

SHRM-GT has offered a series of workforce readiness webinars and online information sessions to students. A sample of topics includes resume writing, identifying personal strengths and preparing for the world of work. Historically, SHRM-GT has offered an in-person resume review mixer, and there is a virtual opportunity being developed to reach a broader number of students via resume assistance.

    GREATER TUCSON LEADERSHIP

Greater Tucson Leadership and Earn to Learn™ partner to offer a two-day Summer Leadership Summit, along with a comprehensive year-long mentorship program during the school year. Our workforce development partners in this effort include Raytheon, El Rio Health, SHRM-GT, Tucson Metro Chamber, Pima Association of Governments, among others.

Our strategic partnerships allow us to provide a seamless transition for students as they work to complete their education and career pathways. The success of Earn to Learn, combined with a widespread acknowledgment that a new approach is needed for funding higher education in conjunction with workforce development, provides an opportunity to help large numbers of students from across Arizona to continue their education towards post-secondary attainment and productively contribute to their communities and the economy.
