Celebrating the Close of Another Incredible Service Year

As of May 23rd, 2025, the Earn to Learn Next Steps Program officially wrapped up another impactful year of AmeriCorps service, and what a year it was!

This year, we were proud to have 47 dedicated Next Steps Advisors serve across 32 high school sites throughout Arizona, supporting students on their journeys toward higher education and career success. From navigating college applications and uncovering scholarship opportunities to decoding the complexities of the FAFSA, our advisors have been boots on the ground providing compassionate, informed, and personalized support to students across the state. Together, our 2024-2025 cohort reached over 9,162 students and contributed a collective 24,057 hours of service across Arizona communities. That breaks down to connecting with approximately 916 students each month from August 2024 to May 2025, representing thousands of meaningful conversations, broken barriers, and impacted lives.

To our advisors, thank you for your service, your passion, and your heart. You’ve moved the needle on educational equity in Arizona, and you’ve done it with integrity, empathy, and purpose. Your efforts have not only guided students through critical post-secondary next steps, but have sparked confidence, clarity, and hope in the lives of so many. The ripple effect of your work will be felt for years to come, and we couldn’t be prouder.
