Who am I?
Niko Centeno-Monroy became an integral part of the Earn to Learn team in early 2024, taking on the role of Program Manager for National Outreach. In this pivotal position, Niko plays a crucial role in the expansion of Earn to Learn into new states, requiring the identification of prospective partners, stakeholders, and community-based organizations to enhance our impact.
Hailing from modest beginnings as the first-born son of immigrants, Niko’s personal journey instilled in him a profound belief in the American Dream, placing a college education at its core. His firsthand knowledge of the challenges faced by marginalized communities has driven him to actively seek roles where his contributions can effect positive change. Niko finds inspiration in the stories of the students he serves and is enthusiastic about playing a role in shaping their futures and realizing their individual American Dream.
Beyond his professional endeavors, Niko is a vibrant spirit with a passion for music—a lifelong instrumentalist, producer, and lyricist—a voracious reader and cherishes quality time with his partner alongside their beloved cat and dog. He prioritizes holistic well-being, nurturing his mental, physical, and spiritual health through travel, exercise, and active engagement in the community.
