Who am I?
In response to the growing interest in Earn to Learn’s Mentorship Program, Kim Flores was appointed to a new position in the organization, the Mentorship Program Coordinator, in May 2023. Equipped with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of Arizona and 13 years of nonprofit experience, Kim has been a valuable addition to the team.
As the Mentorship Program Coordinator, Kim collaborates closely with students and business professionals to create meaningful mentorship pairings aligned with the student’s career aspirations. Through this program, students gain invaluable insights into their goals, benefit from diverse perspectives, and receive encouraging advice to guide them on their educational and professional journeys. Kim finds immense satisfaction in witnessing the mutually enriching experiences that unfold between mentors and mentees.
Since Kim joined Earn to Learn, she has already spearheaded a significant program enhancement that aligns with the organization’s core mission. Recognizing the financial challenges faced by many students, Kim took the initiative based on student feedback and successfully implemented a stipend for program participants. This proactive step reflects Earn to Learn’s commitment to equal access and opportunities, empowering students to wholeheartedly commit to their futures.
Outside of her professional role, Kim dedicates her free time to her beautiful family and indulges in various outdoor activities, such as hiking.
