Who am I?

Jesse Robinson III’s addition to the Earn to Learn team in August 2022 was warmly welcomed, as he brought his wealth of personal and professional experience to the organization. As a community servant, Jesse has generously contributed his time and energy to two separate AmeriCorps programs. His first venture was with the Arizona Department of Correction Rehabilitation and Reentry (ADCRR), where he facilitated classes on psycho-social, life skills, financial health, wellness, and workforce readiness. This experience laid a solid foundation for his subsequent role as a Success Coach at Earn to Learn. Jesse’s commitment to service continued as he joined Earn to Learn’s AmeriCorps Next Steps program as a Near Peer Advisor while pursuing his Bachelor of Science degree at the University of Arizona. During this time, he supported high school students on their path to post-secondary education.

His personal background, marked by the same challenges and uncertainties often faced by Earn to Learn-supported students, enhances the depth and personal touch of his connections and coaching. Jesse firmly believes in the vast opportunities that post-secondary education can offer, opening doors to employment and community support that may have seemed out of reach.

During his four years at the University of Arizona, Jesse was not only dedicated to academics but also showcased his athletic prowess as a member of the Adaptive Athletics Basketball Team—the largest program of its kind in the country. Earn to Learn celebrates Jesse’s success in this program, recognizing that his dedication, both on and off the court, aligns perfectly with the organization’s ethos. Jesse brings this unwavering commitment into his coaching role daily, making him an invaluable asset to the Earn to Learn team.
