Who am I?

Clara Contreras-Boos first joined Earn to Learn in its infancy as a Student Success Coach, working with us from 2015 to 2020. During that time, she wore many hats within the organization and witnessed firsthand its incredible growth over the years. Clara rejoined the team in 2024 to usher in a new era of expanded financial services for our students.

Earn to Learn’s mission of student empowerment resonates with Clara on a personal level. As a first-generation professional and immigrant, she understands the hurdles that so many low-income families face when it comes to accessing higher education, which is why she is steadfastly dedicated to improving the lives of those in a community that means so much to her. Her experience working with student populations combined with her ability to quickly adjust to the continuously shifting financial landscape make her the perfect fit as one of Earn to Learn’s first Financial Counselors.

When Clara isn’t helping students build their personal financial knowledge, you’re likely to find her at the local home improvement store gathering supplies for her latest DIY project or her newfound woodworking hobby.
